In June of 1995, Security State Bank broke ground for its new office in Spring Valley. By November, the office was up and running, complete with a drive up window to better serve customer needs. This drive up facility, along with extended hours, was a big hit. Customers love the convenience of the drive up window as well as extended hours--especially on Saturday!
Security State Bank quickly outgrew the drive-up/walk-up facility. In 2000, the company purchased a building from Spring Valley Mutual Insurance at 100 South Broadway. After renovation, the new main office opened in the spring of 2001.
The Bank originally opened under the name of Security State Bank of Wykoff. In November of 1998, the Bank merged with Security State Bank of Lewiston, a bank owned by the same holding company. At this time the Bank officially became Security State Bank of Lewiston, Spring Valley office. At the present time, Security State Bank--with offices in Lewiston, Ostrander, Spring Valley and Wykoff. |
